Accessibility and service area
What this site aims for, what has been checked, where it falls short and how to reach me.
Short answer
This site aims to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. Pages are checked with automated tests and keyboard and reduced-motion tests before each release. Known gaps are listed below. For a photo session, I plan around step-free access where the source confirms it. Email or call and I help with any request.

The target
In practice that means readable text, enough contrast, a visible keyboard focus, labels on every form field, alternative text on every photo and no content that depends on a mouse.
What has been checked
Before a release I run an automated accessibility audit on the main pages. The test suite also checks that forms and tools can be used with the keyboard alone, that every form field has a label, that errors are announced, that the menu and the photo viewer trap and return focus, and that motion is turned off for visitors who ask for reduced motion.
Automated checks do not catch everything. If you find a barrier, tell me and I fix it.
Known limits
- The schematic map on the photo spot finder has small pins on a phone. The list under the map has full-size links to the same places, and each card has directions.
- The home page hero slideshow can be paused with a button. Photos use short, plain alternative text.
- Pixieset, which hosts booking and client galleries, is a separate site with its own accessibility.
How to ask for help
Email studio@gkeyphoto.com or call 919-917-3015. Ask for another format, a plain-text version of a page or help sending an inquiry, and I do it by hand.
Planning a session for access
The photo spot guides record step-free access where a source confirms it. Of the 80 places in the guides, 13 are confirmed step-free and 17 are partly step-free. A place with no flag means ask me, not that it is inaccessible. Tell me about stairs, parking or mobility needs when you book, and I plan the session around them. An office or home session is always an option.
The photo spot finder has a filter for confirmed step-free access.
