Where these headshots get used
The same photo usually lands on the practice or firm website, a professional directory, LinkedIn, a speaker bio and a conference program. The same image should work on all of them, so clients and patients see one consistent person. That is why a quiet background and a head-and-shoulders crop matter more than a dramatic setting.
Attire for a doctor
General tip, not a rule: a pressed white coat over a simple collar is the usual choice, and many doctors also bring a second look in street clothes. Pick the version that matches how patients meet you. Wear your name badge only if it should appear on the website, and bring the coat on a hanger. Plain solid colors under the coat photograph best, and a neutral stethoscope placement keeps the frame tidy.

Attire for a lawyer
General tip, not a rule: a dark jacket, a clean collar and a quiet color read as established. Navy, charcoal and black are the safe choices. A shirt in a light solid color gives the face contrast against the jacket. Keep ties and jewelry simple. If your firm has a house style, ask for it before the day so the whole team matches.
One look or two
The Professional is $250 for about 20 minutes with 1 to 2 looks and 2 retouched images. It suits one person who needs one clean image. The Personal Brand is $395 for about 45 minutes with 2 to 3 outfits or backdrops and 5 retouched images, with a headshot plus an environmental frame. A second look is useful when a bio page and a LinkedIn profile call for different tones.
On site at your office or clinic
GKPhoto works on location, so there is no studio visit. Sessions happen at your office, clinic or firm. That keeps patients out of the shot and skips separate park permits, since your own workplace needs none. A quiet room with a plain wall is enough. Send the room, the headcount and your schedule, and we lock in the plan and the date together.
For a clinic, plan around the schedule. A short block of 20 minutes per provider keeps the day moving. I do not claim a fixed number of people per hour, because space and schedule decide it.

Per person or team rates
On-site team headshots are $150 per person, $1,200 for a half day and $2,200 for a full day. Eight people at the per-person rate cost the same as one half day, so a larger practice or firm is usually cheaper on the half day. This is price math only. See the team headshot pages for the full breakdown.
Durham and Chapel Hill travel
GKPhoto is based in Apex. Travel adds $100 in Durham and Chapel Hill, and those towns are booked by arrangement. The quote builder shows the fee as its own line before you pay anything, and the total is settled in writing first. A shoot at your own office also avoids the separate permits that Duke Gardens and many parks require.
Next steps
Read the doctor headshot pages and the lawyer headshot pages for local detail. The Durham page and the Chapel Hill page have travel and permits for those towns.
