The price math for 4, 8, 12 and 16 people
Pick per-person pricing for small groups and a day rate for larger ones. The numbers below are the published rates, before NC sales tax and before any travel fee.
| Team size | Per person | Half day (about 4 hours) | Full day (about 8 hours) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4 people | $600 | $1,200 | $2,200 |
| 8 people | $1,200 | $1,200 | $2,200 |
| 12 people | $1,800 | $1,200 | $2,200 |
| 16 people | $2,400 | $1,200 | $2,200 |
Below eight people, per-person is the cheaper choice. At eight the two match. Above eight, the half day is cheaper until the team is large enough to need the full day. The team headshot page lists the same rates with the town fee added.

What to confirm before the date
Three answers decide most of the plan. Send them with your first message and I reply with a confirmed quote.
- Headcount. Count everyone who wants a photo, including people who are on the fence.
- Location. A quiet room with a plain wall or a window works. An outdoor spot works too, with a permit check for the place. The permits guide lists what each town says.
- Dates. Offer two or three, and one weather backup if the shoot is outside.
An office session needs no park permit. Travel is included within 10 miles of Apex. Beyond that, a fee applies and it shows in your quote before you pay.
Wardrobe rules that keep a team looking like a team
One color family makes the team page look planned. Ask everyone to bring a solid top in a mid or deep tone, and a second top as a spare. Skip tiny stripes, large logos and bright white. Anyone who wears glasses should clean them the night before.
General tip, not a rule: send the color plan as a short message with two example colors, not a long policy. People follow a simple ask. The headshot wardrobe guide has colors by background and by profession.
A sample schedule for the day
I build the real schedule after I see the room and the headcount. This template shows the shape of it.
- Arrive early and set up in the quiet room.
- Test the light with one volunteer.
- Run the team in a fixed order, one person after another.
- Leave a short gap in the middle for touch-ups and water.
- Photograph late arrivals and anyone who wants a retake.
- Pack up and confirm who still needs a frame.
I do not publish a people-per-hour number, because it depends on the room and on how many looks each person wants. Ask for a plan and you get the pace in writing.

What happens after the shoot
Portraits are delivered in 48 hours in a private online gallery, and every session includes a print release. Name your files with one rule, such as last name and first name, so the web team can drop them straight into the site.
The price list gives 2 to 3 weeks for large jobs. If your team is big, ask me which delivery window applies before you book, and I put it in writing.
Where team days work
Holly Springs and Morrisville are both inside the included travel area, so a team day there adds no travel fee. Read the Holly Springs business headshot page for local rules, or take the session quiz if you are not sure whether a team day or single sessions fit your group.
The headshot prepare guide covers the brief, the looks and the day of the session.
