Picture day, game coverage and athlete session
Each option fits a different goal.
| Option | What you get | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Team picture day | A team photo and individual frames, set up before or after a game | Yearbooks, trading cards, a clean group shot |
| Game coverage | Action and sideline frames across the game | Parents who want the moments |
| Athlete session | Portraits of one player in the uniform and out of it | A player's own keepsake or a recruiting profile |
The sports packages cover single players and games. The Athlete Session is $225 and game coverage is $525 for up to 2 hours. I do not publish a set team picture day price yet, so the team quote comes from the details you send.

What a coach should send
A coach can make the plan easy. Send these in one message:
- The date, the start time and the field.
- The team name, the jersey colors and the roster size.
- Which game or practice has the best light.
- Whether parents may be on the field for the group photo.
- The deadline for the files, such as the end of the season.
Add a contact for the day, so nobody waits for a text reply on the sideline. The contact form carries all of it to me.
Plan the field and the time
A team photo needs about as much space as the team is wide, with a plain background and the sun behind or beside the group. A brick wall, a fence or a row of trees all work. Midday sun makes faces squint, so aim for early or late in the day when you can.
General tip, not a rule: shoot the team photo before the game, while uniforms are clean and the kids have energy.
Pricing for teams
For a league, tell me the roster sizes, the number of teams and whether you want a single team photo, individual frames or both, and I send a written quote. Travel within 10 miles of Apex is included. The Wake County page lists the fee for farther towns.

Where to start
Read the sports page for the packages, or the sports photography post for how to choose between a session and game coverage. Then send the date and the field.
How athlete sessions fit in
An Athlete Session is a good add-on for a player who wants more than a team frame. It takes about 45 minutes, uses the uniform and a casual look and includes 20 edited images. Some families book one for a keepsake, a recruiting profile or a gift. It also works on a different day from the game, which keeps the schedule simple.
Mixing options across a season
Many teams do one of each: a group photo near the start of the season, game coverage at a key game and a few athlete sessions later. Tell me your calendar and I suggest an order. Send what you have, even if the season is half done. Prices for each piece are on the sports page.
The sports prepare guide lists what to send and what to bring.
